Abandoned cat saved from 2nd round of pregnancy by cat lover who spayed, spoiled and put her up for adoption, giving her full indoor purricness transformation ahead of joining her new family, says: ‘They have fallen in love with her and will adopt her.’

Kitten season is a time known around the world for its surprising, cute and sometimes tragic nature. All at once kittens begin appearing everywhere and their feline mothers simply cannot keep up with the calamity. But thankfully, this story tells the tale of a feline who was spared from another round of kitten season in the nick of time.

While this story came from Reddit's r/Feral_Cats subreddit, the feline in question is actually rather far from the concept of being feral. Of course initially it seemed that she might be considering she was found outside, but soon enough it became clear that this was a poor dumped cat who wanted nothing more than to be loved in the confines of a calming and comforting home. Alas, when her irresponsible pawrent decided she could not handle the cat she did not spay being in heat, the feline was left outdoors to do what cats do best. That is until our rescuer stepped in to make sure that would not happen.

In a heartwarming turn of events this feline's rescuer was met with no challenges, no arguments and no phone calls to police. Only a cat rescue who was eager to help and who stepped up to the plate with no questions or qualms. Ultimately prepawing the purrecious feline for a life as an indoor catto with a family who will truly love her. It just goes to show that even amongst the maelstrom of the overloaded rescue system there are still good people who just want to help cats find their furever homes and live happily ever after. Just as this indoor purrincess had happen to her after getting cleaned up. The rest of her days will be spent living a life of lavish luxury with a family who will love her deeply.

Oh goodness, this is such a wake up call. We often hear about situations involving litters being found in the US, but to hear that the problem is so much more severe across the pond is truly worrying. It means that likely all over the world cats are breeding to no end and bringing with them masses of kittens. Not all of whom will get the care and love they deserve. Thankfully this hooman was responsible enough to step up and get this girl spayed. It might seem like a drop in the ocean on the surface of it but in reality the seemingly little she has done now has stopped around 625 cats from being born without a home over the next year or so.

Ok, what now? How in the heck did someone who adopted a cat through legitimate channels end up deciding that not only should the cat not be spayed but that she should also get to ‘enjoy’ being in heat outdoors? It just goes to show that as much as we pawrents have our qualms with the prodding and poking that rescues do ahead of adoption, so does the rescue suffer from adopters who end up being completely irresponsible and even dangerous to the cat in question. But all is well that ends well as they say and it looks like this feline is set to live a good life.
